strange sound

There is a sound coming from my computer. It sounds like a switch being turned on and off. It happens intermittenly. I opened the case and it sounds like its coming from where my drives are shelved. Anyone experience this before? Thanks Rex

sounds like the harddrive is just a little noisy some make more noise then others. did you instal another recentlly?

That sounds like a dying hard drive.If you haven't already backed up everything, you better get it done very fast.

Yep, it was my hard drive. It's history now. But, I did have it backed up! Still sucks though! Thanks for the info! Rex
