Comment:

Seen as though my computer is lacking RAM, I recently bought 512MB (133MHz) SDRAM. My compter currently has 128MB (133MHz) SDRAM.

So, I come to connect the new RAM and turn on the computer, no sign of recognising it.

I went into my basic system information, which still only reads 128MB RAM.

Next thing I did was go into Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information. This reads that I have a physical memory of 640MB RAM, which should be correct. But, the computer doesnt read it and performance has no change..

Can anybody help, please?

Kind regards,

David Bailey
