Strange GFX Issue 2nd Screen

I've connected my 40" 1080p TV to my video card's DVI connecton with a DVI-HDMI adapter and while playing some games, I only get wireframe and some games do not even run. Two examples: Project64 and ZSNES. I've played another game, Left 4 Dead and it seems to be playing perfectly.
