Comment: I have a weird problem with my audio. My new computer (Pavilion A230N) requires powered speakers, so I hooked up a pair of 'Labtec spin-65'. The right speaker is puting out a bolder sound than the left. The left, in a way, sounds like a surround speaker. When playing games, sounds from the right come from the right side and sounds from the left side sound like they are in the middle. Even though the right side is bolder when the balance is even, if I slide it all the way to the right the right speaker sounds quieter and lacks bass. Slide it to the left and the left speaker sounds fine. I checked the speakers out on another computer and they work fine. I went ahead and installed a sound card(Sound Blaster pci 16). It didn't change a thing. I disabled the onboard audio in the bios and uninstalled its drivers. I don't know much about pc audio and I don't know what els to try. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Computer specs http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/document.jhtml?lc=en&docName=c00026535
