Microsoft Windows xp home edition w/sp2

Specs: Windows XP
I accidentaly terminated the winlogon.exe process. I was trying to get "Internet Security 2010"(fake program) off of my computer and I was doing it manually reading instructions. Now my pc will not do anything. It just says "
STOP:0x000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows logon Process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000) the system has been shut down.". I cannot get past this. how do I get the process back?

forgive me for asking, but it's not clear from your post if you've rebooted the PC yet? I would think that'd get the process to start up as usual.

of course, you also indicate that your PC is infected, so "usual" behavior is kinda out the window.

if you can get your PC to boot, i would post and ask for help in the Security/Virus section.
