Compaq pc / EVO

Specs: Windows XP, ?
I can’t logon my computer.

First, my computer doesn’t show the desktop icons and startup.

I am can access this by safe mode, but not at normal manner. When I try this I need to access the task manager and then browse for this by application/new task.

Second, I can’t access the administrator and the other user account. When I try to access this and it’s loading my files immediately show saving my files and that’s all.

I hope you can understand my situation. Sorry for my English, I only know a little.

Your English is fine. You explained your present condition but didn't give any history of what led up to it.

Is this an old installation? If so, did this occur all at once?

Did you encounter any viruses, trojans, etc. recently?

Do you use an anti-virus program and firewall?

Thanks for your response.

I don't know what happened previously. This is my stepdaughter's computer and she can't explain what she does before the situation.

Yes, this is an old installation and occurs all at once.

Not viruses were found.

The computer used spybot.

Spybot is a good spyware/malware program but can't remove viruses.

So you can't access the administrator account while in safe mode?

I can't access the computer's administrator account in safe mode.

With difficult, in last known configuration I can access the other user account. But I need to use the task manager and use Application/new task to browse the all users startup for access the desktop icons and start option.

I can’t access any user in normal access. Both show loading my settings and immediately shows savings my settings; and nothing happen.

Try performing a system restore from within Windows to a restore point prior to this problem.

If that doesn't work then go to the link below and look for solutions to repair each issue.

I turn on my computer, then appear a blue screen. No users accounts was shown. Nothing happen, unless I use the task manager. In the task manager application/new task...I browse for the Startup.Ink

Then appear the desktop icons and a warning "Windows cannot fint '/idlist,:876:1008,C:documents"."
When I create a restore point, what name I can type. How it can affect my computer?

You don't want t create a restore point, you want to roll back to a previously created restore point. To yesterday, of instance, if that would be prior to this problem occurring.

I am not sure what you can access. Can you access Control Panel?

I don't think it matters what account you are in to use system restore.

Honestly, I don't know how to get to system restore by typing a command line.

Look at System Restore in this link for possible help.
