its that time again for me which i must reinstall windows and start from scratch. thing is though, i always seem to forget one thing or another and erase them. any suggestions on what to backup that i havent thought of yet? so far i have my videos and antivirus backed up on cd.

You should make backups of any downloaded software you have installed.
These little apps can be a pain to track down, I usually keep setup.exe files in a separate folder as I go to simplify things when Windows goes Schizo and needs a labotomy.
