Squash Spillage on laptop - advice needed

April 8, 2011 at 07:56:33
Specs: Windows 7
Earlier I spilt squash on my laptop, at first (about 2 hours ago) it wouldn't turn on, i called dell who said i need to buy a new motherboard. I've just tried it again and it seems to be working fine, apart from the left mouse botton, any advice on what i can do to prevent further damage? Should i still get someone to have a look at it? Should i leave my laptop on or switch it back off?

Leave it off, remove the battery, remove the keyboard, clean it as best you can, then re-assemble & try it.
