Hi all:

For the last few days I've been getting those annoying "notify Microsoft" pop up messages on my PC. They are in regard to the spooler log files. Usually I do a "print preview" before printing anything. But when I go to print sometimes I get a message saying that there is no printer installed. When I try to reinstall the printer I get a message saying something about the spooler files. I've had to use the "System Restore" three times in the last two days to get my PC back to where my printer is useable. Does anyone know what is going on? Or do we need the specific error message?

Have you checked for spyware, adware, or viruses? Sounds like something is changing your settings, and your System Restore undo's it.
