Laptop or desktop. If it's a laptop you let it dry thoroughly, if the keys are sticky, I would replace the keyboard ($25 +installation in Canada) roughly. You may even consider having a shop clean it inside if the unit is not damaged. Does it work or do you know, don't turn it on if it has not dried. Attempting to clean them is not usually worth the aggravation. Depends on what was spilled too, water or sugary liquid. If this is for a PC, much the same advice....keyboards are cheap or you can attempt to clean it up... but I don't generally.

Both types can be cleaned. Not an easy task.

Do NOT attempt to turn a laptop on without cleaning the KB. If this is a laptop you should remove the keyboard for cleaning. Some additional disassembly may be required. Plain warm water will due. Rinse with distilled water and leave it set until thoroughly dry.

As HopperRox stated, it may be easier to buy new.

Google for how to cleanup a spill on a keyboard. You will see lots of hits.
