Speed of 7200rpm drive

I have a 7200rpm drive. I have a feeling that it is not spinning as fast as it should be, or it has some other problem. WinXP is saying that "The driver has detected that device \device\arddisk0\rd0 has predicted that it will fail. Immediately backup your data and replace the drive."
So I am running a drive benchmark. What would a typical time be in milliseconds (ms) for a 7200rmp drive be?
Your drive is about to fail, as the wraning indicated.
Back up your data from that drive to another. If it is screwing up, acting slow, it is probably about to die sooner rather than later.

Knowing the drive rpn speed isn't going to tell you anything except to confirm somthing you probably already know. If it was spinning slow you would know about it by now. HD drives have to spin with 2% of their rated speed, otherwise they just do not work.
The actual speed of a drive is dependant on many factors and speed is no indication of a failing drive. There is no typical milliseconds for a 7200 rpm drive whatever that means.
However, the warning you got is, and you should do something about it soon.
