speaker interference/noise

I have noticed a slight crackly interference noise on my speakers when they are plugged into my computer. When I move my mouse, an audible buzz on top of the original interference occurs. Earlier today, I heard a rhythmic spike of sound in addition to the interference.
I have an Audigy and this didn't used to happen. It only becomes audible when I turn them up pretty loud, but I still don't like listening to music or playing games and knowing it's there. It's either getting worse, or I'm just noticing it more.

Check and make sure your computer ground is working. Several clothes dryer sheets are good to keep near tower to keep static away. There is an update for noise reduction for audigy cards. Still sounds like you have a ground fault somewheres.
