K simple problem really. I have a headset/with mic .. on my last computer everything worked fine. I got a new computer.. and if I even plug the mic in my sound will start skipping. Like the volume going up and down real fast.. and it wont fix until I reboot and ill have to unplug the mic. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

No idea. That's one of the strangest things I have ever heard.

My only 'Guess' would be a defective sound adapter.

Who makes the headset?
What program do you use to tell the fluctuation?
What graphics card?
What opperating system?

We need to know some info in order to help.
