I have another question about the hardware details for a SoundMAX onboard sound card. I wish to upgread my speakers to an logitech Z-650. But it requires a 5.1 feature and a 6 layer or bit somthing.
I have no idea what my onboard SoundMax has? Could you please tell me what the hardware details are and will it work. And If it wont work how would I go about getting it to work?

Can anyone help me Please?

Open your Sound Max Control panel. There is an option to choose Surround Sound Speakers (5.1 surround)

I looked On there site there's no more information about that card there.
I looked in the soundMax Control Panal and in options and all it says is "Surround Headphones" and Surround Speakers.
