Hi wanted to know is this a good sound chip, been reading on the net that it is a 18 bit chip is this true, I am running a KT3 Ultra 2 Raid, Just asking because I have a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 which is 16 bit so which one is the best, is the Realtek ALC650 a 18 bit please can you confirm this, as I can't find much about this chip

Thanks

Richard

from what i know the 'soundblaster audigy 2 platinum' is 24bit, it is definately one of the better cards because it has 5.1 EX and THX certified which is my symbol of quality. basically LIVE is now looking very dated, in my opinion.
