Hey guys, i got a AC 97 sound card on board a INTEL 810 E processor.i just recently got a headphones with mic description given below-:
Impedence:32 ohms Sensitivity:96 db+-4 db Freq:20-20000Hz Max inp power:100mW Connector:3.5 mm stereo plug * 2
When i plug into the sound card i dont even i get 5 db of sound output! i get the sound output but the it is very low!

try going to volume control and changing settings. Important setting would be the "wave out" or "wave" setting. Your system can be at maximum level, but if wave is set low, then output will be low.
