Comment: I have just been given a PC Chips M810LR motherboard. As far as I know it is running all the latest drivers. When listening to music in Win Amp (or similiar) when I open a program or a web page I get a blip and pause in the music. As you can gather this can be quite annoying especially if you are opening a lot of pages. I just wondered is this normal on one of these motherboards with everything built in? If not I wonder whether anyone has any solution.

Reply: (edit)Nope it's not normal. I've got the same motherboard and listen to MP3's in very good quality using the onboard SiS 7018 soundcard. Try downloading and installing these drivers: ftp://ftp.ecs.com.tw/driver/sound/sis/7018w9x117.zip
