I have just been given a PC Chips M810LR motherboard.
As far as I know it is running all the latest drivers. When listening to music in Win Amp (or similiar) when I open a program or a web page I get a blip and pause in the music. As you can gather this can be quite annoying especially if you are opening a lot of pages. I just wondered is this normal on one of these motherboards with everything built in? If not I wonder whether anyone has any solution.

Nope it's not normal. I've got the same motherboard and listen to MP3's in very good quality using the onboard SiS 7018 soundcard.

Try downloading and installing these drivers:
