Comment: I can't get any sound when I play music CDs in the CD-Rom... I have a CD-ROM and a DVD-ROM. If I plug headphones in to them then I do get sound, but nothing when I try to play through the speakers. I've checked RealOne Player and it isn't muted, and the system sound isn't muted for CDs or turned all the way down. Is there something simple I could be missing here? Sound is fine for everything else I play, but not music from CDs.

Reply: (edit)You need to have an audio cable attached to the cd-rom to the sound card inside your computer. Otherwise, the audio will never make it to the sound card...

Reply: (edit)Yeah, it's an analog or digital wire depending on which one you need. If you don't have a sound card it needs to be connected to the mobo's CD_IN connector.
