Comment: What is good sound card for me? I am recording demos at my home. I need sound card which is good in recordind multitracks, and good when dooing both operations in same time(playback and recording) for not huge price. Pls. give me few solutions!

Reply: (edit)It depends how what quality of demo's you want. If you just looking for a decent soundcards for rough demos, then a soundblaster will suffice. I would suggest however that you look at something a little better. M Audio has some top of the line pro audio sound cards that will run circles around anything that Creative Labs makes. Sound Blasters are concidered a joke to any pro musician. SB are rather noisy and don't give you a flat response. If you just recording 1 or 2 tracks you probably won't get that much noise but start recording 8 tracks or so and boy does the noise add up quickly The M Audio cards can run fairly cheap for just a 4 channel card and is probably about the same price as a top of the line SB card.
