Sound card trouble

OS: Windows XP
CPU/Ram: IBM X86 366Mhz - 128 Ram
Comment:

When I start my PC, no sound,and cannot play media player [ messageis: cannot find sound cart ]
Then I close,start again, and I have sound.It happens every time.
Windows XP - Crystal Semiconductor Card,
CS 4235 ISA

Hi antzan:
This is a guess, it seams that since you're using slow CPU for Windows XP it might be better to find a PCI slot sound card with XP drivers (should be able to find a cheap one) to replace the ISA card. PCI slot should be able to communicate better with CPU over a ISA slot device. from See Ashley problem below yours for removing device from Device Manager.
