I am having a strange problem with my laptop. It has worked before, but now it will not start up for whatever reason. When you press the power button all three (caps, num, and the other one) lights come on and stay on, the startup screen never comes on (that is to say that the screen never even turns on), and the CPU fan doesn't even engage.

I have seen on another forum that someone had a similar problem and has tried applying pressure to the board around the front and the lights will turn off, the fan will engage, and the screen turns on only to freeze at whatever place its at.

I have not had any type of luck...the lights stay on and nothing else happens.

I have taken out the RAM one at a time and changed the order just to make sure it wasn't the RAM and nothing happened.

Has anyone seen anything like this, ideas, or anything would be helpful.
