Comment:

I did something incredibly stupid. I put my laptop down on the floor on the power button side, and left it there for about 5 minutes. Now the piece containing the power button is loose and moves anytime the lid is opened/closed.

I need help securing this piece. I can't seem to figure out how to take off the back of the case to get at the thing. Sony wants between $125-$200 to repair it (I have to ship it to San Diego & I'm on the East Coast), so I want to avoid that.

Any help is appreciated. And go ahead and make fun of me if you want to, I know it was a stupid thing to do (I just never imagined a machine like this could be damaged so quickly).
