hi all, i really need some help at the moment, lately i have noticed my laptop battery guage in windows and in powersuite has startted to shoot down very quickly, it says around 1:45min remaining then it suddenly drops in a matter on mins to empty. yet if i keep ignoring the warnings, the battery lasts around another good half hour on the battery, what does this mean?

i am in need of help as i cannot use it anywhere cos it drains so quick.

regards

The chargable battery is going south. What happens is through repeated charging, the cells inside develope partial shorts that add to the current drain. In time it will be unchargeable.

Replace it.
