Comment:

i have a sony viao laptop. recently it went into hibernation and now it won't turn on. i press the power button and the lights turn on but the screen doesn't turn on and nothing happens.

i removed and reinstalled the HDD and still nothing. i also removed the RAM and reinstalled those.

right after removing 1 RAM and turning it on i get a beep code that i researched to be "Display memory read/write test failure". but if i keep switching the cards i get a different beep code that is "ROM BIOS checksum failure"

any ideas anyone?
