I am having a problem with my Sony CRX215E5 that I just installed in my spare computer when I took it out of my new one and put in a DVD burner. Both systems are HP and running XP one is just slower then the other. It will read cds and install programs but it will not burn a cd where can I get the drivers to make it burn cds or do I have something else wrong. I have checked the system and it looks like there is no program to make it burn a cd. Any ideals would be appriated. Thanks
You don't need drivers...you need burning software...it should have been included with the CD-RW when you got it. How were you able to burn CDs on other PC? What program did you use? NERO is probably the most common...check to see if you have the CD. Otherwise, you can download the latest trial version here:

Yes it worked great with the other computer I will download nero tonight so I can see if it will fix the problem . I don't remember see a disk with my sets that had nero on it but I may have over looked it. Thanks for your help.
