i tried to print a document on the laser printer but the printer doesn’t print and the LED on the front panel keeps flashing.

What brand/model printer? Have you read the manual? They usually have a FAQ/Troubleshooting section that will tell you what to do. Could be anything from paperjam to empty toner or some other internal software or hardware issue.

I once had a HP printer that did the "flashing Yellow LED" thing. Couldn't fix it. Was cheaper to replace than repair.

My color laser printer flashes when in the enery saving mode. As was stated above you need to look at the manual.
