Some cd wont recognice

I have this CDROM Cyberdrive 60Xmax. I buy a CD and this CD wont work in my machine. I go back in the computer store and when they check it it works in their machine. I ask them to change the CD and this time it works in my machine. I also have a 2 Movie CD and the other one not recognice my CDROM. Why is it that some of CD wont recognize in my machine? What is the problem with my CDROM?

Your problem is one of standards and the CD-ROM drive has many different standards to support to make its working invisible to you.Your drive may be weak as far as support for some media type is concerned.DVD movies are generally run on a DVD drive.Are you using a movie copy on CDR: that may be the problem.This is not a standard normally supported unless you have all the software to do it just like with a DVD movie.Good luck.
