Hi Tom, My dell inspiron laptop has an intel GM45 express chipset that's soldered. I was trying to figure out a way 2 upgrade it as I use a lot of graphics programs. Creative labs have a graphics card (Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook) that fits into the pc express slot. The slot on the laptop is using the wlan mini card (means removing my wireless). Would this work and would it be worth the trouble? Thanks.

Don't remove your wlan card and it's impossible to remove the IGP. Buy a gaming laptop or build gaming desktop(cheap).
