software that damage hard drive

are there any software out there that i can use to damage my hard drive so it can never boot up or reinstall windows?

How about taking the hard drive out, disassembling it, and smashing the platters? Not only is that the best way to accomplish what you said, it's also bitchin' fun.

A hard drive put in that way, would be worthless, why not just smash it?
