This is strange. I have a Radeon 9800 Pro 128 video card. I needed to download the updates because of an issue in the program I'm using, but when I updated the drivers, my speakers (Klipsch Promedia 5.1) went out and sound only came out of the subwoofer.

I figured it might be the integrated sound was causing the problems so I grabbed a soundblaster live! card from my brother's pc and put it in. Sound worked. But then after a while it just went out and only came out of the sub again.

I turn off the power on my Klipsch and five minutes later it works again. But it'll go out again after a while. Any idea what the issue could be?

I rolled back the driver and it seemed to work, it never went out for a while, but I need to have this updated driver for me to work within my 3d graphics program (it requires this update to be installed). So I think it's the driver.
