Smoke coming from Tower

Specs: Windows 7
I have a Dell Desktop that is about 3 years old. It is my business computer so it stays powered on for days at a time. Yesterday, the computer started smoking and will no longer start up. I opened up the tower and cleared the dust. There doesn't seem to be any internal burn marks or anything like that.

Do I need to just replace the power supply?

Since you have to start somewhere, that's as good a place to start as any.
Get one with a higher wattage output than the one it's replacing.

Why can't you turn it off when it is not in use? Better still put it and all the wall warts it has on a power strip and turn it off when not in use.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
