My small fan appears to have become unfixed
and is loose in base unit. Where does it fix to?

NOT COMPLETELY AU FAIT.
I HAVE THE LARGE FAN WHICH IS NEXT TO THE HOLES IN
THE SIDE OF THE CASE.
IT'S THE SMALL FAN I AM PUZZLED ABOUT. I THINK IT
COULD BE ON THE CPU, BUT IT'S LOOSE AT THE MOMENT.
I WISH I COULD GET A PICTURE OF THE LAYOUT.
THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY BTW.

Not really, I found it lying on the floor of the base unit. It's a very
small fan about 3" square, and doesn't appear to fit or clip on
anywhere.

Is this the first time you had the case open. Maybe whoever built it left an extra fan lying in there.
