Specs: Windows XP
Just upgraded my CPU from C2Duo 4300 (1.8Ghz/800FSB)>>QX6700, which my Foxconn supports. (946gz7ma-8ks2h-800/1066 FSB).

According Sandra2010 benchmarks, my 4300 was running close to the reference, but w/the QX6700 I'm @ least 30% LOWER than the QX6700 CPU's reference benchmarks.

My mobo has an 8-pin CPU power connector. I got it to boot w/only the 4-pin on my PSU. Do I need all 8-pins connected to get 'full power' out of my QC?

Does your OS support all cores?

It's WinXP Pro 32-bit SP3. I don't know if it does or not.
