sir, i need your help, i have assembled a PC with following configuration Mother board : INTEL D845GEBV2 chip set (supporting HT ) Processor : INTEL 2.4GHz with HT Hard Disk : Samsung SP4002H/40GB/7200 rpm. RAM : 256Mb DDR 233 FSB OS : WinXP professional CD-RW : LG 52X24X52X Now my problem is that when i copy a DAT file of 435MB from my CD-RW to my hard disk it is taking 7minute & 30 sec. to copy.While there is another branded IBM machine having just half of my configuration ie it is having following conf. Processor : INTEL 1.8Ghz Hard Disk : IC35l040AVVN07-0/40GB RAM : 128MB OS : WinXP professional. CD drive : 52X IBM now when i copy the same DAT file of 435MB on this IBM PC from its CD drive to its Hard disk it is taking only 6minute & 10 sec. why my data transfer speed is lower than this branded PC which is nearly half of my RAM & PROCESSOR capacity.One thing i also notice when i went to "system" from "control panel" so under "General" tab of "system property"it is written ============================================ Computer : Intel(R) Pentium(R)4 CPU 2.40GHz 1.20GHz 256 MB of RAM ================================== Plz tell me why 1.20GHz is also written as my processor is 2.4GHz , or iam taken for ride by my spare parts dealer,so Plz help me to solve my problem. Sounds like you have your FSB set to 1/2 of what it should be. Also, is the burner setup as the secondary master?

sir, jam will you plz tell me how to find & set FSB to full & how to find about that the burner setup is secondary master or not.Plz guide me as iam not more advance into this field.Plz help me as iam novice. Regards SUNIL.
