Comment:

I have a SIS 630 intergrated graphics card in my laptop, and I've tried to update the driver to 2.08 from the 2.06 I have. The 2.08 has recently spread all over the net, but every time I load it, it seem to be fine. When I re-boot I get an black screen and then a error that my driver (The Sis630v.dll in particular) is putting my system into a loop function, so the computer self shuts down.

Help would be aprechiated

Gil

the problem is you probably don't have ur card propertly configured before you installing the new driver and there might be a chance that the driver might NOT be compatible with your operating system.

How would I go about configuring my card, I'm using a Laptop (Jetta 7700+). I think it might be a Sis 630s or st because those seem to be the laptop versions, but I am not sure. Even so, the drivers seem to be 630/730 drivers. Also they are made for windows XP.
