I have an SiS 300/SiS 305 32MB graphics card, and I can't seem to display 1280 x 1024 at 32-bit color quality. I can only seem to use 16-bit.
I already tried using the latest drivers from SiS (version 1.15 at http://www.sis.com/download/). So I'm wondering if anyone else with this graphics card has the same limitations.

What happens when you try to use 32 bit?
Do you 'really' need 32 bit?

The onboard memory of the card determines to a great extent the maximum settings. How much memory is on that card? Take a look here for a more in depth explanation. http://techreport.com/etc/2002q3/graphicsmem/index.x?pg=1

I agree with ham30 - do you really need 32 bit color?
What you REALLY need is a decent video card...those SiS based cards are crap!
