Single sided and double sided Ram

On a website I found the following; "double-sided memory will generally be faster than single-sided memory." I always thought it was the other way around but anyways what is faster If I had 4 Ram slots on my PC;

Has no basis in fact.
The side a memory module is on (unless old magnetic doughnut) has nothing to do with speed. There could be slight (very slight) speed changes if magnetic interactions but ram is not normally (almost never today) a magnetic media.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

Makes little difference.
Some older mobo's have trouble dealing with high density ram and single sided, but other than that, it should make no difference.
Buy both, Run Sandra and tell us the difference :P
