OK on my Nokia 5110 the sim card is blocked and i put the sim card in my other fone and it is still blocked. Rang up my service provider and told me that it is screwed. Can I buy a sim card reader to retrieve my contacts? I also have access to the Nokia phone cable

When a SIM card get's blocked you can enter the PUK code to unblock it. The PUK code should be available from the service provider.
Be carefull, if you enter 10 wrong PUK codes you completly block you SIM card. There is no (known) way to unlock it.
