Shuttle failure

Comment:
My shuttle no longer recognizes the hard drives or cd drive, so will not boot beyond post. Also main exahust fan not working, tho other lights are on. Tried resetting CMOS but no luck. Is this a power supply or a mobo problem? How can I test mobo?

You have symptoms that probably indicate your power supply is failing. Failing power supplies are common. They often partially work, yet the computer will not boot. Check your PS. See response 4 in this: http://www.computing.net/hardware/w...
You can't test the mboard if the PS connected to it is not working properly.

If the "main exhaust fan" is the one in the power supply, that MUST be be fixed.

Shuttle is a brand name. In addition to MBoards they also make a pretty expensive gaming rig that is super small. What do you have?
