I want to make sure that my motherboard is working correctly, but I don't have a CPU to test with it... Should I get a POST beep if I turn the computer on without a CPU installed?

As I was clicking submit I noticed the word beep. I am unsure if any beeps are possible without a processor but I don't think so.

No. The processor is required to run the bios and post routines.
