Middle October I bought a Kensington
Sharecentral 5 switch and connected my
desktop and my laptop to it.

With this I could switch my mouse and
keyboard and other USB equipment from my
desktop to my laptop and vv.

Since I installed this switch I have had three keyboards broken down. Two wireless keyboards, a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0A and a Logitech Cordless Keyboard Y-RH35 and an Acer PS2
connected simple keyboard, model 6511-C.

I have worked with keyboards since 1981 and
never had problems. Could the Kensington
Sharecentral 5 switch be the cause for the problem ?

Sure it can. Dunno what happened but 3 keyboards is a lot.

Be sure to test them directly to a machine though with all the inputs directly connected.
