|If you go into the BIOS set up and set the SATA hard drive to emulate a PATA (EIDE) drive during the installation of Windows XP. After Windows is loaded you then download and install all of your drivers including the SATA driver (chipset driver first, video driver second, then others), Then go back into the BIOS and return it to the faster SATA setting. Return to Windows, do your windows updates, install your antivirus program, and continue to personalize it.|
