I'm asking for help because I am really losing my patience now. Ive tryed on 5 f---ing different CD's, of two different marks, and it always give the same result, when it reaches 20-50 percent, I get this stupid error message that says Session Fixation Error. I used Nero 5.5.10, and I attached my log to this post. Now if you have the solution please help me because I'm really losing patience and I absolutely need to make a backup of my files before I format.

I think the clue is the "no seek complete" error message (it is the first error)investigations lead to the following from another site and not written by me
http://www.mp3machine.com/discussion/messages/10913.shtml
I got the problem when I try to erase no-name CD-RWs. I think it is atleast in part because of a dirty lens - let me explain to you why I think so.
Every part of the CD is provided with a laser power calibration area - here's the spot where the laser adjusts its power to suit the medium. If the lens is dirty or foggy or whatever, it's too "hard" for the cd-rw or cd-r to be written. Sometimes the Cd-re/writer gives up and tells the computer "No seek complete". I suggest cleaning your lens professionally - not with those cleaning discs they don't even do a good job. They'll need to open it up and clean the lens and objective mirror etc etc.
This is just my guess though. Try it out!

Well thanks for trying but I just spent 45 minutes opening my PC, then my CD burner and I saw no fog or grease or dust of any sort. So I guess that's not the problem.
