Server Wont start

Ok this is what happened! Server was running great! but wanted to try some DDR memory i had instead of SDR, so i took out the SDR and put in DDR, poof and some smoke on one of the memories and a burning smell. I turned it off took out memory and put SDR back in. didnt work right away, disconnected main power supplt connection from power supply then booted on next try. Got server in to place about 2 hours later wont start. DId that again messed with memory, started. shutdown and nothing I do can get her on know any idea? much appreciated!

You just can't put the poof back into these things. Once you let the smoke out that is it. Game over.
Your only hope would be to start from scratch. Remove all components and see beep code. (check PS) Add components slowly to see if system acts correctly.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

WELL! with great luck I put another stick of DDR in and it worked, put SDR in it won't work! answer. use DDR weird the World we work in called computers sometimes

You are indeed lucky - could have fried the motherboard. Best to check RAM specs very thoroughly against your mobo manual before trying them.
