Product: Winfast / ? how do i find this out in bios ?

Comment:

Right I had an IDE hard drive with a 80gb hard drive there
is a datatbase on the system which took up most of the
system 60gb which was the LDF files. so I purchased a
new SATA hard drive and cloned the drive using XXclone,
the data and everything appears to have transfered all ok
because I can view the information, however when I
installed the sata drive it stated disk boot failure please
insert disc and press enter, I have had problems with the
old hard drive as the ldf were too big and the system
would no longer run not even in recover console.

So I had to copy the data using another pc connecting
both the original IDE hd and the new SATA hdrive,
obviously when formating the drive I also had to set it to
another directory name which in this case I named it R:
recovery server ?

so what am I doing wrong ? in the bios settings it does
not show the SATA drive or lists SATA as an option so
how do I change this ?

I have tried to enable and the SMART system and it set to
channel 1 however the same error message came up ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Russell
