whats up, im having the hardest time trying to figure out whats going on with my computer......It is a laptop and it just started having these freezing problems about a week ago.....not to where it freezes totally but to where it stops for like 30-45 seconds and comes back to work fine for a few minutes.. then freezes again like it doesnt have enough ram to run....but it has plenty......even the programs that barely take up any power struggle to run when 5 days ago they worked fine. ......... then 3 days ago the keyboard started randomly changing where im typing...(it took me like 15 minutes just to type this paragraph out without it messing up) .. for example:
one day there s a mann who went to the store to bu
y some food. while he was at the sotre he decided he wanted to ge
t somem steaks
named joh when he got to the ch ck out stand h realized he forgot his wallet in the car so he told the lady at the stert he had to go and get ire
it also randomly will hit back or forward on my browser making me go back to pages i dont want to go to....or erase big chunks of sentences when it switches places...i cleaned it....un and reinstalled it i dont know what to do anymore.....PLEASE HELP>>>Its a laptop as well so the keyboard is part of the computer..... (it took me like 25 minutes to write this plea for help so please!!!!!)

yea i can still download stuff....i thought i may have had a virus but my virus program couldnt find anything. is there somethng i can get or something?

Does your virus program check for spyware as well ? Also, can you run the program when you boot up, or at least in safe mode, instead of from within Windows ?

i think what you need to do to narrow down the problem is try it with another keyboard in a usb socket or in the round type socket if it has one on it.

Sounds to me like either a memory problem (memory going bad) or a heat issue. I would run memtest86 with an ultimate boot CD or floppy (if your laptop has a floppy drive). You can also run memtest86 from a USB drive.
Also download and run Everest home edition (free) and look at your CPU/HDD temps.
You might also have an OS or driver corruption issue. On one system I rebuilt for a customer I had the same issues--freezing erratic slow text and a video driver reinstall fixed it.
Also remember there is one thing I do before I even so much as whip out any of my hardware diagnostic or software tools for customers PC's, and that is to try a previous system restore (if one is there), but I always back up the registry and also create a new restore point before I go back in time to see if the PC will act like it should before it was causing issues -- and if does act ok it's usually a piece of software like Norton AV updates conflicting with sound drivers or a driver that the user unwittingly installed because they had windows updates set to download and install and they just click through all of those install screens without thinking about what they are installing (like a new video driver which needs a specific install routine).
Again ... Just off the cuff I think it's likely a (1)memory or (2)heat issue or (3)corrupt driver install or (4) corrupt OS files.
