You need to set the FSB in the BIOS to 166.

i know its confusing but when AMD say 266 it means 133 in terms of the motherboard and when they say 333 it means 166 in terms of the motherboard. (its all to do with Double Data Rate).
In case you are unaware, a sempron does NOT run at 2500 mhz , it runs at around 1700 mhz. It's a kind of marketing con, the speed of athlon xp processors and Sempron is not the same as model number. eg. Athlon 2000xp and Sempron 2400 both run at 1666mhz.
It was bad enough when AthlonXP came out and kind of fooled people, it is now even worse with sempron numbers. They are still very good value compared to Intel pentium but i would prefer it if it just looked a bit more honest as most people will view the situation as a stitch up, although it's not really when you take into account price.
Even Intel are now doing this kind of thing with the latest Celeron processors, where the model number is higher than the real speed.

In otherwords..... even though your sempron may "operate" at 1.7 ghz.... That is AMD-wise.... Intel-wise that is 2.5 ghz.
