Seeking a printer for home use.
Just for color and B&W printing, on regular paper, no faxing needed, no photo printing needed, no scanning needed.
I want it NOT to load down my computer with buggy crap software like yet another photo editing suite I never use.
The best thing would be if I could just plug it in, let Windows choose the driver, and that's it, keep the bloatware away from my machine. Like a networked printer you use at work, it just shows up when you hit control-P, no desktop icons, nothing in my start menu.
Printer ink should be manageable in price.
I want it to print reliably, not like the HP I last owned. It always insisted it was out of paper even when it wasn't and I had to baby the paper feed system along with every page it printed, I got maybe one page out of it every couple of minutes.

In short, I want a no-bulls**t printer. Do they even sell those for home use anymore?

By the way, I should also note that I am not above buying one used, if I can find it on eBay or whatever.
