Today i connected my old hard disk to the new pc. This hard disk must be connected alone with an ide because its old. so i disconnected my dvdrom and cd writer and connected my hard disk. i transferred the files to new computer and disconnected it. now my dvd and cdwriter aren't found by the computer and i didn't touch any jumpers. The hard disk is connected with the primary id. when i connected the dvd and even the cd writer with the primary ide the computer found them. In the bios secondry ide it tells me not installed. i'm sure that the ide cable can't be damaged with what i've done
can anyone help me pls?

A bit confused with the explanation, but let us assume that you disconnected the 2 x Optical Drives from IDE connector Number 2.
You then connected an old HDD to this connector and copied files from old HDD to the othe HDD.
After which, you removed the old HDD and reconnected the 2 x Optical Disks.
OK: chech that the IDE interface cable is connected securely and with the correct alignment [the red side stripe, indicates PIN 1} to the MOBO Interface Connector.
Then in the centre position, to the SLAVE optical device, again check cable alignment and double check jumpers are at SLAVE.
Same again to the end connector as MASTER.
Be sure that the Power Cable is also properly located.
TRY IDE AUTO DETECTION in BIOS.
All should be fine!
