I'm using nvidia quadro nvs 280 pci multiview adapter. The pc starts xp normally on both monitors but after that the secondary monitor will "go to sleep" and Im unable to use it or to "wake it up" again. Theres a messahe about "your startup configuration settings ....." when I switch off the second monitor and then on again, it shows a "Going to sleep" and thats it. The screen just goes blank. How can I get my second monitor to work again? The cable connections are checked and they are all ok.

Disable the power saving settings in the bios - if you swap the monitors over does it still happen ?

Thanks for reply, rayok. It was a configuration error in nView. Now set to dual view, with two separate monitors, problem solved. Previously was Display 1&2 in one single monitor enabled.
